# v1 API Reference

> The existing v1 contract remains available while integrations migrate to v2.

This reference documents `/v1/*`. Existing clients can keep using v1 while migrating individual reads. New integrations should use the complete [v2 API](/api-reference/overview).

The unversioned `/openapi.json` URL continues to serve the v1 document. There is no announced retirement date.

The legacy trader collection includes `tradeCount` and trading filters. v2 separates identity lookup from activity selection. For unchanged reads, keep the same filters and continuation token when switching versions. Restart pagination when moving from legacy trader discovery to either new collection.

Authentication, [response envelopes](/api-reference/conventions/request-response-envelopes), and [errors](/api-reference/conventions/errors) follow the same conventions. The current guides use v2 paths; use this reference for the exact v1 operations.
